Mary Ann Reed

Mary Ann began her career as a teacher. After retiring, she decided to take up sculpting. This gave her the opportunity to work in a challenging field with her hands and it included her interests in people, culture and history.
For over 10 years, Mary Ann has been making Original Santas. She has been named as one of the top Santa makers during the years 1995 - 1998, has been listed on the 200 top American Craftsmen by the Early American Homes Magazine, has had photos of her work appear in Comtemporary Doll Magazine and has appeared on local television and radio programs explaining her work.

    Description of Seminar:
    Mary Ann will teach the process of sculpting an elf's head, hands and feet.

    • Doll Medium: Polymer Clay
    • Supplies Required:
      Students must bring their own sculpting tools and paint brushes. The armature material, polymer clay, foil, and paint will be provided.

    • Recommended for Ages: 15 to 98
